Job Description

The Management Trainee program is designed to provide aspiring hospitality professionals with practical experience and exposure to key operational departments in a resort environment. The trainee will develop foundational skills and gain insights into hotel operations under the guidance of an assigned mentor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-the-job training within key departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Kitchen

  • Support daily operations and assist team members in delivering high-quality guest services

  • Learn standard operating procedures and contribute to departmental goals

  • Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors on assigned tasks or projects

  • Attend departmental briefings, training sessions, and cross-functional activities

  • Maintain professional behavior, grooming, and punctuality as per company standards

  • Complete a final report or presentation summarizing the internship experience (if required)

Department Exposure

  • Trainees will rotate or be assigned to key operational areas based on organizational needs and trainee interests, including:

  • Front Office

  • Housekeeping

  • Food & Beverage (Restaurant/Bar)

  • Kitchen

Each trainee will be assigned a direct supervisor or mentor to provide support, guidance, and regular feedback throughout the internship.

At the end of the internship period, the supervisor will complete an evaluation form to assess performance, strengths, and areas for improvement. Feedback will be shared with the trainee for development purposes.

Qualifications

  • Final-year student or recent graduate from a hospitality or tourism-related program

  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability

  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Prior internship experience is a plus but not required
