GENERAL PURPOSE

The Assistant Maintenance Manager is reporting to the Engineering Manager and responsible for the operation of RW Awana Maintenance Department. Assistant Maintenance Manager must have the capabilities and knowledge on main building infra structure which involves Electrical, Mechanical, Building and common IT services. Assistant Maintenance Manager needs to be familiar with the various policies, procedures and regulations governing the use of the facility, programs and contracted services offered within the Department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge/ awareness in procurement and warehouse system, electronic Service Action Request, Plant Maintenance System and other administrative office duties.
  • To maintain regular reports and updating internal databases, Quality Management System (i.e. ISO, HACCP, OSH documentation)
  • Monitor and manage expenses and to prepare property R&M budget
  • Performs all administrative duties required to maintain the department effectiveness and efficiency.
  •  Make frequent inspections of the property:

-      Responsible for overall aesthetic appearance of the property with the authority to remedy the situation through utilization of established procedures and protocols.

-      Address and report any disorders, safety or security issues, maintenance concerns and building damage.

-      Insure that customer service and customer satisfaction is a primary concern to all operation units within reason and dependent on available resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Maintenance Manager must be an effective, reliable, responsible, mature and able to handle a variety of difficult and emergency situation.

Education and Experience

Bachelor Sc in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of similar trades working Experience. 

 

OR

 

Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of similar trades working Experience.
