We are looking for AM and PM Line Cooks who want to join a team of true hospitality professionals.

The James is a neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare in the heart of James Island in Charleston, SC. With an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, The James offers familiar dishes and top-notch hospitality, creating a community gathering place to return to time and time again. Locally operated by The Neighborhood Dining Group (Husk, Marbled & Fin, Delaney Oyster House, and Minero).

  • Dinner: 7 days a week, Sun- Thurs open till 9 pm, Fri & Sat open till 10 pm
  • Lunch: Wed � Sunday, Starting at 11:30 am

What we are looking for in our James Team Members:

Someone interested in learning new techniques enjoys working with locally sourced ingredients and is eager to assist in achieving our culinary vision. FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE!

  • Skills in food production with the ability to follow recipes and guidelines.
  • Applicants should have at least 1+ years� experience cooking in a full-service, fast-paced restaurant.
  • Understanding of food and kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  • Comfortability with multi-tasking and prioritizing job duties � working quickly, cleanly and efficiently.
  • Willingness to get the job done correctly!
