Line Cook (Part-Time) – Tribute Eatery & Bar, Coralville, IA
Tribute Eatery & Bar is seeking an experienced part-time Line Cook to join our energetic, fun, and welcoming team! If you love preparing creative takes on classic dishes in a lively atmosphere, we want you on our team.

Starting Pay for Line Cooks: $15-$22 per hour based on experience.
Schedule: Part-time weekend brunch; Saturday and Sunday between 7:30am-4pm with potential weeknight schedule opportunities, 4pm-Close.
Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 30 hours per week or more.

Expectations
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months or more of line cook experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time.
