Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Legal Associate - Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in providing legal support and guidance to the organization, ensuring compliance with various laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating clauses, and advising on legal matters related to employment, data protection, intellectual property, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, NDA’s, LOI’s including employment agreements, consultancy agreements, and real estate documents.
2. Legal Advice: Assisting in provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders on Indian laws and their application to our services and operations.
3. Employment Law: Advise the HR team on employment law-related queries, review employment policies, and assist in employee disputes.

1. Data Privacy: Assist in cross-border data privacy-related queries and intercompany data processing agreements.
2. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Handle IPR-related matters, including trademark, copyright, and patent issues
3. Policy Development: Analyze, draft, and update policies, procedures, and documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
4. Dispute Resolution: Manage disputes, including legal notices, litigation, and arbitration.
5. Real Estate: Draft and review real estate documents, negotiate contract terms, and identify legal risks.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with various laws, including FEMA, secretarial, and governance requirements.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) with a strong academic record.
2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate law firm or industry.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian laws, including Contract Act, Data Protection Laws, Company Law, Employment Laws, Property laws, FEMA, Intellectual Property Laws, Arbitration Act, and Stamp Act.
4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
