Humble Grape is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Chef to work alongside our Executive Chef. This is a unique role where 70% of your time will be spent on admin and operational tasks, with the remaining 30% in the kitchen—covering shifts and cooking when needed.
Stock & Cost Management – Using Marketman to manage stock, supplier orders, and inventory.
Recipe Costing & Menu Development – Ensuring profitability and consistency across all sites.
Administrative Support – Handling kitchen-related admin, compliance, and communication.
Team Coordination – Liaising with chefs and head office teams to maintain smooth operations.
Kitchen Support – Stepping in when required to cook and cover shifts.
Experience with Marketman and a strong understanding of stock control & food costing.
Computer literate – Comfortable using spreadsheets, order systems, and communication tools.
Organised & proactive – A problem-solver who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communicator – Able to liaise between chefs, suppliers, and the head office team.
Kitchen experience – Confident in cooking and supporting the team when needed.
