Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team in the beautiful tropical island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our hospitality operations.

• Audit and verify all revenue transactions, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other ancillary services
• Ensure accurate recording and posting of all transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to management
• Reconcile revenue discrepancies and resolve any issues or variances
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements
• Monitor and review all accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
• Stay updated on Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all financial practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an auditing or finance role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Vietnamese accounting standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment
• Organised and efficient approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines
