The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations for assigned floors or public areas. The role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, guest room standards, staff productivity, and timely room readiness, directly contributing to guest satisfaction.

Supervise housekeeping operations for guest rooms, corridors, and public areas

Conduct daily inspections to ensure rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure rooms are released to Front Office on time, especially during peak occupancy.

Monitor linen, amenities, and room replenishment standards
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Allocate rooms and duties to room attendants and public area staff
<\/p><\/li>
Conduct pre -shift briefings and communicate VIP rooms and priorities
<\/p><\/li>
Monitor grooming, attendance, discipline, and productivity
<\/p><\/li>
Provide on -the -job training to housekeeping staff
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Handle guest requests and minor complaints related to housekeeping
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure VIP room setups and special requirements
<\/p><\/li>
Conduct inspections using SOP checklists and quality standards
<\/p><\/li>
Coordinate maintenance issues with Engineering and ensure closure
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Monitor usage and stock of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
<\/p><\/li>
Maintain lost and found records accurately
<\/p><\/li>
Prepare shift reports, room status updates, and inspection logs
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure compliance with hygiene, chemical handling, PPE, and safety protocols
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Housekeeping
<\/p><\/li>
2–4 years of housekeeping experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
<\/p><\/li>
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, linen care, and hotel standards
<\/p><\/li>
Familiarity with PMS systems such as Opera, IDS, or cloud -based PMS
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
