Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our property, Aman Nai Lert in Bangkok. In this role, the Hotel Manager will serve as an ambassador of the warm, personalised service and intuitive hospitality that defines Aman. They will lead by example as a custodian of the brand, ensuring that our values are consistently practiced and embodied by the team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, they will drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction and team performance, while upholding Aman’s dedication to providing a level of service and experience that is peerless in every way.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and commercial awareness, as well as a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations within the Thai market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure personalized guest experiences where every detail matters.
  • Be the key point of contact for guests, resolving any concerns and ensuring an exceptional level of satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures in line with Aman standards and values.
  • Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to drive occupancy, ADR and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop department heads and teams to foster a culture of excellence and engagement.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality, safety and service consistency.
  • Nurture a culture of teamwork, ownership and refined service throughout the resort.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Represent Aman Nai Lert Bangkok with professionalism, discretion and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including at least 5 years in a senior operational role.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of Thai and additional languages is an asset.
  • With excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven background in Rooms or Food & Beverage operations.
  • Deep understanding of Thai culture and service standards.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and manage budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on management style with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems such as Opera PMS or similar.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
