Make your Mark - meaning having genuine freedom when working with suppliers of your choice, wine lists you can put your name on, and one that you're proud of - its a part of your personality. Its a decision making role, you make the changes, you roll it out, and you develop the front of house team around you so they jump on the journey.

Working closely with our Venue Beverage Manager, General Manager, and Group Sommelier, make your mark.

A bit about the role;

• Monday to Friday position – enjoy a balanced workweek
• Allocated admin day – stay on top of stock and inventory, collaborate with our Group Sommelier on ideas, activations, and planning
• Play a key role in new venues – as Applejack grows, contribute to developing wine lists for upcoming venues, potentially progressing into a multi-site sommelier role
• Grow your knowledge – attend industry tastings, events, and pursue extracurricular development opportunities
• Creative control – take ownership of the wine menu, from design to management and regular updates
• Lead education within the team – organise supplier tastings, offer pairing suggestions for our dishes, and share new favourites with the team
• Be an integral part of the front-of-house team – assist with service, including running food, clearing tables, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Salary: From $80,000 + super + tips
