New-opening all-day café seeks a Baker/Pastry Chef to lead daily bread and pastry production.
Qualifications:

  • Proven baker/pastry chef experience with excellent laminated dough execution and high-volume production consistency.
  • Israeli/Middle Eastern pastry experience preferred (burekas/borek, malawach, yeasted flatbreads) and comfort with savory + sweet.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and excited to help build opening systems, recipes, and production schedules.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily production of laminated doughs, breads, and pastries to spec, ensuring consistent quality, yield, and timing.
  • Prepare fillings/components featuring Israeli & Middle Eastern flavors; support seasonal menu development and daily specials.
  • Manage fermentation, lamination, proofing, and baking processes while maintaining organization, sanitation, and equipment care.
  • Maintain food safety standards, labeling, and cleanliness while following recipes and executing to a production plan.
