About the role:
As a Gourmet Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in promoting Barry Callebaut’s portfolio of premium chocolate products to customers in Croatia. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, chefs, and key players in the gourmet segment, such as confectioners, pastry shops, bakeries, restaurants, and hotels.
You will oversee the restructuring and optimization of distribution channels, acquire new clients, and work closely with the regional marketing team to execute impactful strategies that strengthen Barry Callebaut’s market position.
Key responsibilities:
About you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Sales & Marketing.
Fluent in English and Serbian/Croatian (written and verbal).
3+ years of experience in Sales, preferably within a multinational FMCG company.
Familiarity with the chocolate or gourmet industry is a plus.
Strong commercial skills, including presenting, negotiating, and discussing business strategies.
Ability to adapt quickly to new sales and marketing approaches.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Financial acumen and impactful presentation abilities.
High emotional intelligence and professional conduct.
Location: Belgrade, Serbia (Hybrid work model).
Travel Requirement: 60%+ travel.
