Job description:
We are seeking a discreet, adaptable, and experienced Private Chef or a team of 2 Private Chefs to join a high-profile family for an intensive ~2.5-week assignment from June 15th to July 2nd 2025.
The chef(s) will support the resident house chef to provide consistent, high-quality, health-focused cuisine for a group of 11 adult VIP guests. The environment is fast-paced and family-oriented, requiring high standards and exceptional professionalism.
The role demands full service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Breakfast will be ordered individually via text/WhatsApp and include both à la carte preparations and light buffet-style options (e.g., granola, yogurt, fresh fruits). Lunches are typically healthy, portable options—wraps, sandwiches, salads—served family-style. Dinners will be varied, family-style meals featuring clean proteins, vegetables, and sides.
The chef must be capable of preparing nutrient-dense meals that are still flavorful.
No raw fish or raw proteins, no whole fish or dishes with bones, and minimal pasta. Desserts must be light and healthy—think sorbets, fruits, or sugar-free treats. Pastries are specifically not wanted.
You will have access to a large and well-equipped commercial kitchen and a separate prep/storage facility adjacent to the home. No cooking is permitted in the main house, which must remain quiet at all times.
The team will include housekeepers, butlers, and a house chef already on-site. Candidates must be comfortable collaborating closely, assisting with provisioning, menu planning, and managing dietary preferences without ego.
Accommodation is provided off-site, with a 5-minute commute. A vehicle will be provided for shopping and transport. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and ideally be self-employed.
The cooking trial is required and will be organized ASAP; travel expenses for the trial will be covered.
