POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary
The In‑Room Dining Server is responsible for delivering a refined, personalized, and seamless dining experience to guests in the comfort of their rooms. This role goes beyond serving meals — it creates memorable and unique experiences that reflect the elegance, sophistication, and bespoke service culture of The St. Regis brand. The server ensures every order is executed with precision, timeliness, and impeccable presentation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and anticipatory service to guests during all stages of the in‑room dining experience.
- Prepare trays and trolleys according to brand standards, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
- Coordinate efficiently with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
- Present and serve food and beverages in guest rooms with professionalism, discretion, and refined etiquette.
- Interact with guests in a warm, polished, and service‑focused manner, ensuring any needs or special requests are handled promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and service stations to hotel and safety standards.
- Clear rooms and service items efficiently while respecting guest privacy and comfort.
- Manage menus and order details with accuracy, including reading, verifying, and communicating information clearly.
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, and St. Regis quality standards at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods across various surfaces, including uneven or slippery areas.
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and performing other physical tasks required for service execution.
- Ability to visually verify menus, checks, and order information.
Professional Standards
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance in compliance with St. Regis grooming and uniform standards.
- Ensure communication is courteous, clear, and aligned with the hotel’s service culture.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment for guests and colleagues.
- Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned to support the guest experience and hotel operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
