Job Description

We are seeking a professional and attentive F&B Butler to join our luxury resort team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As an F&B Butler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our discerning guests, ensuring their utmost satisfaction and comfort throughout their stay.

  • Deliver personalised food and beverage service to guests in their rooms, suites, and designated areas of the resort
  • Anticipate and fulfil guest needs, maintaining the highest standards of customer service at all times
  • Present and explain menu items, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Assist with in-room dining set-up and clearance
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas and equipment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining, preferably in a butler service or similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on anticipating and meeting guest needs
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
  • Proficiency in handling various service equipment and tools
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality is advantageous
  • Food safety certification (preferred)
  • Wine and beverage knowledge certification (preferred)
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and practices
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and beverages
  • Ability to work in a tropical resort environment and adapt to local conditions
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
