We are recruiting an Executive Pastry Chef for a 5-star island resort in the Maldives. This senior role leads the pastry operation and develops creative, high-end dessert offerings.
Requirements:
- Senior-level pastry experience in luxury hotels/resorts
- Proven experience leading a pastry team
- Strong creativity in dessert and pastry menu development
- Excellent
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- Good English proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pastry team and daily operations
- Design and develop innovative pastry and dessert menus
- Ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation
- Manage ordering, stock control and cost management
- Train, mentor and develop junior pastry staff
