JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with government local authorities and non-governmental licensing bodies to secure permits and authorizations for foreign artiste performances.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure all related documentation is completed, thoroughly compiled, and submitted to relevant authorities within specified deadlines.
  2. Monitor timeline and follow up on all submitted applications, including PUSPAL approvals, artiste withholding tax payments, immigration clearances, and visa arrangements with Malaysian embassies or high commissions prior to the artiste’s entry into Malaysia.
  3. Maintain a strong working relationship with the PUSPAL office by ensuring integrity and precision in all submitted documents to uphold the company’s compliance and reputation.
  4. Forward all immigration documents and approvals to Operations personnel in impeccable condition to facilitate smooth artiste arrivals. Verify that passports are correctly stamped upon arrival or when received from Operations.
  5. Safeguard all artistes’ documents and passports, ensuring they are securely handled at all times.
  6. Confirm that all artistes’ work permit fees are settled and that work permit stickers are correctly printed and officially stamped in their passports.
  7. Assist the finance department with artistes’ tax exemption submissions.
  8. Ensure clearance of all artiste-related tax matters with the Inland Revenue Board, including show contracts, security bond stamping, and extra show tax clearance.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
  4. Strong time management skills
  5. Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  6. Preferably able to drive and commute independently
