1. Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the housekeeping staff in the hotel
2. Responsible for coordinating with other departments within the hotel or resort to ensure that the needs of guests are met.
3. Involves working closely with the front desk staff to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner, or with the maintenance team to ensure that any issues with guest rooms or public areas are addressed quickly.
4. Possesses wide range of responsibilities, including hiring and training new staff members, developing cleaning schedules, and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and presentable.
5. Approves all supply requisitions, such as those for spreads and bathroom rugs.
6. Preparation of Budget for CAPEX & OPEX for housekeeping of the hotel.
7. Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items. Determines the rightful owner and sends correspondences.
8. Should have an eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and housekeeping staff.
9. Obtain a list of vacant rooms to be cleaned immediately & list of prospective checkouts or discharges to prepare work assignments.
10. Experience with turn-down service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries.
11. Assigns team members their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
12. Prepares and distributes the Room assignment sheet and floor keys to room boys.
13. Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and other departments of the hotel.
14. Maintain high quality of housekeeping standards in (i) the guest rooms, (ii) linens and uniforms, (iii) lost and found procedures, (iv) laundry and (v) public area.
15. Schedules the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaning as necessary.
