Craft & Crew Hospitality is hiring a Full-Time Executive Chef for The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar, our vibrant South Minneapolis location known for its creative vegan options, craft cocktails, and one of the best dog-friendly patios in town.

We're looking for a culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is excited about bold flavors and plant-forward cooking, and values building a strong, inclusive kitchen culture. As Executive Chef, you'll work alongside a passionate and skilled team while leading kitchen operations and bringing your culinary creativity to the table-literally.

Located in the heart of South Minneapolis, The Howe is beloved by neighborhood regulars, vegan foodies, and dog lovers alike. From stacked brunches to innovative vegan plates and house-smoked meats, we offer something for everyone-two- and four-legged guests included. Our dog-friendly patio, robust beer list, and welcoming vibe make The Howe a true community hub.

Train at one of our sister locations to learn the Craft & Crew way and work alongside our Corporate Chef to bring your vision to life in our busy, high-volume kitchen.

What You'll Do as Executive Chef

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high food quality and smooth execution

  • Lead and develop a team of culinary professionals in a supportive, fast-paced environment

  • Create and innovate menu items, including plant-based and dietary-friendly options

  • Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Manage food and labor costs, ordering, inventory, and kitchen scheduling

  • Work closely with leadership to drive guest satisfaction and business results

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in the restaurant industry

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role

  • A passion for plant-based innovation and inclusive dining options

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Experience with food costing, labor management, and kitchen scheduling

  • High culinary standards with a hands-on approach

  • A genuine love for hospitality-and dogs!
