Job Description

We are seeking an organised and efficient Engineering Storekeeper to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our engineering inventory, ensuring smooth operations and timely supply of materials to our engineering projects.

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of engineering parts, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerised inventory management systems
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
  • Process requisitions and issue materials to engineering teams
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all items, including hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Implement and maintain an organised storage system for easy retrieval of items
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic inventory reports
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storeroom
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management processes

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an engineering or industrial environment
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Basic technical knowledge of engineering parts and equipment
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 kg
  • Knowledge of engineering terminology and components
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations
  • Ability to work in a tropical climate
  • Warehouse management certification (preferred)
