As a Door Lady, you will create a welcoming first impression by greeting guests with professionalism and warmth at Shangri-La hotel entrance. You will assist with door services, guest arrivals, and departures while maintaining Shangri-La service standards. Also, you will coordinate closely with Concierge and Front Office teams to ensure smooth guest flow and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests courteously upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive and lasting impression.
- Open doors, assist guests entering and exiting the hotel, and manage traffic flow at the entrance.
- Coordinate with Concierge and Bell Services to support guest assistance and luggage handling.
- Monitor the entrance area to ensure cleanliness, order, and guest safety always.
- Provide basic guest assistance and directions while maintaining a professional and polished presence.
About You:
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills with a friendly attitude.
- High attention to grooming, posture, and personal presentation.
- Ability to remain calm, observant, and proactive in a high-traffic environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Reliable, courteous, and committed to 5-star luxury service standards.
- High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a guest-facing or hospitality role is preferred.
- Formal training in customer service or luxury hospitality standards is an advantage.
