Role Purpose

The F&B Commercial Director drives the strategy for achieving commercial objectives of the F&B vertical across the hotels through innovative marketing strategies, effective pricing models and targeted initiatives. The role aims to create synergies between operational leadership, marketing efforts and financial success of the F&B business.

 

Key Accountabilities

  1. Create and execute the food and beverage strategy to achieve revenue goals in alignment with the corporate objectives, market opportunities and trends; and guest preferences..
  2. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of food and beverage operations. Develop revenue- driving initiatives and pricing strategies, conduct monthly & quarterly review of F&B performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing/ PR teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive footfalls and build loyalty. Identify and leverage new commercial opportunities, including promotions, seasonal offerings, special events, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  4. Oversee the development of creative and appealing food and beverage offerings that meet market demand and customer preferences. Use guest feedback and performance data to continuously refine and improve the guest experience, elevating satisfaction while boosting revenue generation.
  5. Collaborate with sales, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless integration of F&B initiatives with overall hotel revenue strategies. Work closely with the hotel teams to integrate F&B offerings into corporate sales efforts, group bookings, and event planning in order to maximize revenue opportunities.

Key Skills & Experiences

Education-

  • Master's and /or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field of education and work-related experience.

 

Experience-

  • 10+ years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency in food and beverage operations.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends, customer preferences, and industry best practices.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools

  • Track record in successfully developing and maintaining excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies.

  • Demonstrated communication skills including ability to influence and ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships.

Technical skills: 

  • Excellent knowledge of F&B operations.

  • Demonstrated project management skills in organizing, planning and executing large size projects

  • Must possess superior problem-solving skills combined with stakeholder management and team leadership skills
