We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our prestigious fine dining restaurant team in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for an international candidate with a flair for culinary excellence, attention to detail, and the drive to work in a high-standard kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
Maintain portion control and consistent presentation in line with menu specifications.
Follow recipes accurately and contribute to the development of new menu items.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, hygienic, and organized at all times.
Support in stock control, receiving deliveries, and minimizing wastage.
Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Take responsibility for assigned kitchen section during service in the absence of the Chef de Partie.
Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field.
Formal culinary training or relevant hospitality certifications are preferred.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and safety procedures.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in a variety of cooking methods.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
