Cost Controller

A cost controller is responsible for monitoring and managing project or company expenses to ensure financial efficiency within established budgets.

Key Responsibilities -

● Monitor and analyze costs across projects, hotels or departments, helping to spot trends and areas for savings.

● Develop, implement, and refine cost control strategies and systems aligned with company objectives.

● Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting cost variances and recommending actionable interventions.

● Collaborate closely with project managers, Property GM’s and department heads to ensure budgetary goals are met and costs remain under control.

● Conduct cost-benefit analyses for prospective projects and review financial feasibility.

● Ensure financial transactions and cost allocations comply with accounting principles and company policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills-

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

● Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and, often, project management/accounting software.

● At least 3–4 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or project management.

● Attention to detail and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
