Job Summary:

The Continental Head Chef is responsible for all Back of House (BOH) operations in line with company policies, ensuring full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards across kitchen and service areas. You will guarantee the consistent delivery of food offerings and promotional activities to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update authentic continental menus, incorporating international food trends.
  • Oversee kitchen productivity, quality control, portioning, and timely service during peak hours.
  • Lead and train a diverse kitchen team, ensuring adherence to SOPs and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Manage inventory and procurement to optimize costs while maintaining ingredient quality.
  • Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory requirements, leading audits and inspections.
  • Support HR projects, including diversity, wellness, and process improvements.

Main Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • 5-7 years experience in continental cuisine, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in premium hospitality or international restaurant settings preferred.
  • HACCP certification and strong knowledge of modern plating and dietary accommodations.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with POS systems, inventory tools, and cost analysis.
