Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking duties.
  • Prepare ingredients and dishes according to set recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and stored in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Support the kitchen team during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with stock rotation and minimising food waste.
  • Adhere to the hotel’s culinary standards and service excellence ethos.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant culinary qualification or currently studying towards a professional chef qualification.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or fine-dining kitchen (advantageous).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for food and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
