An exclusive upmarket boutique hotel in Gqeberha is seeking a passionate and motivated

to join its dynamic kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking duties.
Prepare ingredients and dishes according to set recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared and stored in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Support the kitchen team during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with stock rotation and minimising food waste.
Adhere to the hotel’s culinary standards and service excellence ethos.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant culinary qualification or currently studying towards a professional chef qualification.
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or fine-dining kitchen (advantageous).
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for food and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Excellent hygiene and time management skills.
