We are hiring a Commis 1 / 2 – Kitchen Assistant / Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations in our central kitchen. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about food preparation and kitchen hygiene. You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-paced team, working directly with chefs to ensure high standards in food quality, preparation, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a line cook during daily production
- Assist chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Prepare ingredients as required for meals and packing
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards
- Receive and organize food inventory using the FIFO method
- Support ad-hoc kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant kitchen experience preferred (but not essential)
- Basic spoken English (Cantonese a plus)
- Familiarity with food production, handling, and hygiene standards
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Responsible, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Must be eligible to work in Hong Kong
