Job Description

As a Chef at The Ely, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers. The Ely is a fast paced, multi faceted business with a successful 37 bedroom hotel, Large fully equipped function room and a beautiful destination countryside pub. As we are in Yateley, you will need your own mode of transportation due to the site not being on any bus routs. 

Qualifications

As a Chef, you will…

• Provide hot well plated meals to company specifications.
• Have fun and encourage your team to provide the best service.
• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.
• Enjoy your self on shifts and love the work you do, we are all about work life balance.
