About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for Chef De Partie (Sushi Speciality) for Culinary Department to join Jumeirah Group.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Plans and conducts sushi-specific training sessions for team members, ensuring skill development in areas such as knife handling, rolling techniques, fish cutting, and presentation.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a similar Sushi Chef role within a reputable restaurant or hospitality environment.
In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern sushi techniques, including cutting, rolling, and handling raw seafood safely.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality and consistency.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.
Adaptability, creativity, and passion for continuous learning and culinary innovation.
