Job Description

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes including North Indian, South Indian, and regional specialties.

• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

• Ensure consistent food quality and presentation as per hotel standards.

• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

• Assist in creating and testing new Indian recipes for menus and promotions.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel SOPs.

• Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other departments for smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management from a recognized institute.
