Job Description

We are working with a brand-new pub opening in a quaint market town in Hitchin. With a focus on fresh, seasonal produce and high-quality dishes, they are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join their team of three as they work towards achieving Rosettes.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Chef De Partie…

• £32,000 per annum plus circa £3,000 service charge
• Temporary accommodation available
• Set days off – Monday and Tuesday
• Working from Wednesday dinner to Sunday lunch
• Cooking with the very best, seasonal ingredients
• Working alongside a close-knit team of 3
• Pushing towards earning prestigious Rosettes

Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie…

• Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Contributing to menu development and bringing creative ideas to the table.
• Taking ownership of your section and training junior team members when needed.
