We are delighted to be hiring a Chef De Partie for our Café Bar Little Picardy. This is an opportunity to work under the renowned Edinburgh Playhouse and ATG Entertainment brands in a new and exciting way, bringing a sophisticated yet informal dining and drinks offering to Greenside Place. Please note that demonstrable relevant experience as a CDP is essential for this role.

The experience you need to thrive at ATG:

• Experience as a Chef de Partie
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent leadership skills and communication skills
• Experience with food ordering and stock management
• The ability to work under pressure and be able to stick to deadlines
• The ability to work independently and as part of team 

As a Chef De Partie you will be expected to perform all relevant kitchen duties including but not limited to:

• Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all working areas
• Preparing food to an exceptional standard
• Supervising the junior members of the Kitchen team
• Ensuring planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt, organised and efficient manner
• Be aware of booking levels and occupancies, ensuring the correct quantities of food are prepared to avoid unnecessary wastage
• Promoting an effective and efficient communication culture by communicating clearly and calmly
