The Ubiquitous Chip has been serving fresh, seasonal, Scottish food since 1971. We are looking for an experienced CDP with previous experience working in a fast paced environment.
As Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for running a section of the kitchen with precision and care. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to create high-quality dishes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about seasonal cooking.
As a Chef, you will…
Prepare and execute dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients to the highest standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times
What you’ll bring to the kitchen:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, ideally with seasonal-focused menus
A passion for fresh, local ingredients and sustainable cooking practices
Strong organizational and time-management skills
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
