As a Business Development Manager – MICE, you drive revenue growth by developing and managing meetings, incentives, conferences, and events business. And you will build strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and agencies to maximize revenue. Also, you will align sales strategies with the hotel’s luxury positioning and large-scale event capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify, develop, and manage MICE accounts to achieve rooms, banquet, and event revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, PCOs, and MICE agencies.
  • Prepare and negotiate group contracts, proposals, and event packages in coordination with operations teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies within the UAE MICE segment.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, site inspections, and networking events.

 

About You:

 

  • Strong knowledge of the UAE MICE market, event planning processes, and group contracting.
  • Excellent negotiation, sales, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex proposals, large-scale events, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast, budget, and track MICE performance.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Revenue Management, or Marketing are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry.
