Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring attentive, experienced, service-oriented busser for Lunch, Brunch and Dinner. Experience in a full service restaurant is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Greets guests promptly with a friendly, warm welcome. Prepares and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to II Fornaio specifications with courtesy and efficiency.
-Is familiar with all liquor brands, recipes for cocktails, glassware, garnishes, operation of espresso machine, and service procedures.
-Suggests and serves food courses to guests and answers questions regarding food preparation, ingredients, preparation time, appearance, and taste.
-Relays food orders to appropriate station via computerized P.O.S. system.
-Processes bills in a timely manner, including additions and omissions, checks correct pricing, and receives payment from guests.
-Checks ID on all guests ordering alcohol if appear under the age of 30.
-Monitors alcohol consumption of guests to avoid over serving. Informs a manager when someone appears to be intoxicated.
-Promptly prepares all servers drinks.
-Is responsible for bank; collects all dining room tendered checks and reconciles cash drawer.
-Oversees the activities of barback
- Stocks storerooms and keeps them neat and organized
- Performs side work as directed- to keep the restaurant clean, orderly, and well stocked.
-Adheres to food safety & sanitation guidelines.
- Works as a team player; assumes a pleasant and helpful attitude toward guests and fellow co-workers to ensure guest satisfaction. Exemplifies the company's core values of honesty, integrity, respect, commitment, and quality.
