Position Summary:
The Bar Back supports our bartending team in delivering efficient, high-quality beverage service to guests. This role is essential to ensuring the bar runs smoothly, remains clean and well-stocked, and provides bartenders with the tools they need to create drinks quickly and beautifully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock and replenish bar inventory including glassware, garnishes, mixers, and spirits throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, shelves, sinks, and coolers.
- Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, syrups, and other drink components before and during service.
- Collect and wash glassware promptly to ensure constant availability.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and empty kegs; replace as needed.
- Support bartenders during high-volume periods by delivering drinks to servers and guests when necessary.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to bartenders or management.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local regulations and restaurant standards.
- Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests when approached, maintaining our family-friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous bar back, bar, or restaurant experience preferred but not required�training provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
