Position Summary:
The Bartender delivers efficient, high-quality beverage & food service to guests. This person should be extremely knowledgeable about craft & classic cocktails including proper builds , have a good understanding about wine & wine pairings, be able to multitask and take care of multiple guests at one time , and have an outstanding knowledge of spirits and the intricacies that come with working a bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, Garnish, and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks according to standards or guest requests
- Maintain knowledge of popular and classic cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.
- Accurately measure and pour ingredients
- Greet and interreact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle complaints or issues promptly and politely
- Operate cash register and POS system
- Create guest experience by making personalized suggestions and taking orders accurately.
- Maintain accuracy with the guests checks and process payments carefully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, shelves, sinks, and coolers.
- Collect and wash glassware promptly to ensure constant availability.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and empty kegs; replace as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to fellow bartenders or management.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local regulations and restaurant standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous bar experience including full service , food sales, mixology , wine etiquette.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and bar techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
