Our client is one of the UK’s most spectacular five-star hotels, known for its impeccable service, exceptional dining, and breathtaking setting. They are searching for a passionate and skilled Senior Sous Chef to lead within their award-winning banqueting kitchen.
In this role, you will play a key leadership part in a dynamic events operation delivering elegant weddings, conferences and private celebrations. You will help shape seasonal menus, lead service for high-volume functions and ensure every dish leaves the pass to the highest standard.

Responsibilities as the Banqueting Senior Sous Chef…
- Running banqueting service smoothly across large-scale events with consistent, high-quality dishes
- Supporting and deputising for the Head Chef, including stock control, GP and rota planning
- Leading, training and motivating a talented brigade, guiding junior chefs to excel
- Collaborating with events and operations teams to plan and execute bespoke menus
- Upholding rigorous food safety, allergen management and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Driving prep systems, section organisation and efficient production for volume without compromise
