Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Banquet Chef to join our team. The Banquet Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of food for banquets, special events, and functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, a creative flair for menu development, and the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. This position reports to the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Banquet Operations to plan and execute banquet menus
- Prepare and cook food in accordance with menu specifications
- Supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Oversee the presentation of dishes and ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment
