The Banquet Captain is responsible for supervising and executing banquet events in line with hotel standards. The role ensures flawless event setups, service delivery, team coordination, and guest satisfaction while acting as a key link between clients, kitchen, and banquet management.

Lead and supervise banquet service for weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social functions.

Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and ensure timely event setup
<\/p><\/li>
Coordinate with kitchen, AV, housekeeping, and sales teams for smooth event execution
<\/p><\/li>
Conduct pre -event and post -event briefings with service staff
<\/p><\/li>
Monitor service flow, buffet replenishment, course service, and clearance
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Greet event hosts and ensure requirements are delivered as per BEO
<\/p><\/li>
Handle guest complaints and service issues professionally and promptly
<\/p><\/li>
Maintain consistent service standards to ensure a seamless guest experience.
<\/p><\/li>
Provide real -time event updates to banquet management.
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Allocate stations and assign duties to stewards, waiters, and trainees
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure grooming, hygiene, and uniform compliance
<\/p><\/li>
Train new team members on banquet service techniques and event protocols
<\/p><\/li>
Motivate staff to maintain service quality and discipline
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Oversee setup of tables, linen, décor, buffet counters, bar setups, and equipment
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of banquet inventory
<\/p><\/li>
Coordinate with stores and housekeeping for linen and supplies
<\/p><\/li>
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, fire, and safety standards
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred
<\/p><\/li>
2–4 years of banquet service experience, including supervisory exposure
<\/p><\/li>
Strong leadership, communication, and guest -handling skills
<\/p><\/li>
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
