Budget: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 (negotiable based on experience and exposure)

The second round will be a full -day trial at the café.

About the Role:
<\/div>
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Bakery Sous Chef with a strong foundation in
<\/div>
bread making, artisan gooey cookies, and contemporary & innovative desserts. The
<\/div>
ideal candidate is passionate about creating modern, trend -driven products suited for a
<\/div>
fast -paced QSR -style café chain.
<\/div>
You will assist in leading the bakery production, maintaining high quality and consistency,
<\/div>
and mentoring junior team members while contributing creatively to new product
<\/div>
development.
<\/div>
<\/div>
Key Responsibilities:
<\/div>
â Supervise daily bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and
<\/div>
presentation.
<\/div>
â Develop and innovate new products — from breads and cookies to contemporary
<\/div>
plated and café -style desserts — aligned with current trends and brand identity.
<\/div>
â Manage production planning to meet high -volume demands while maintaining
<\/div>
efficiency and product integrity.
<\/div>
â Train, guide, and motivate junior bakers and commis to improve technical skills and
<\/div>
speed.
<\/div>
â Ensure recipes, techniques, and SOPs are followed across the team for consistency.
<\/div>
â Collaborate with the Head Chef and management to roll out new menu items and
<\/div>
seasonal launches.
<\/div>
â Uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety
<\/div>
norms.
<\/div>
â Troubleshoot production challenges and find creative, practical solutions under tight
<\/div>
timelines.
<\/div>
â Remain flexible to work across shifts depending on operational requirements.
<\/div>

Candidate Profile:
<\/div>
â 4–5 years of solid experience as CDP or Jr. Sous Chef in a professional bakery or
<\/div>
café kitchen.
<\/div>
â Strong technical base in breads, cookies, viennoiserie, and modern desserts.
<\/div>
â Passionate about innovation, flavor pairing, and dessert aesthetics.
<\/div>
â A keen eye for emerging dessert and bakery trends.
<\/div>
â Proven ability to work efficiently in high -load, fast -paced environments.
<\/div>
â Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
<\/div>
â Hands -on trainer with the ability to upskill and mentor team members.
<\/div>
â Positive, solution -oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
