Description
Key Responsibilities: Operational Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service (as applicable).

Ensure that all F&B services adhere to Holiday Inn Express brand standards, hygiene, and safety procedures.

Supervise service staff and ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests.

Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving complaints quickly to maintain guest satisfaction.

Support inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation of food, beverages, and supplies.

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and communication between departments.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, and other relevant food safety standards.

Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant, buffet, and back areas.

People Management:

Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating F&B team members.

Foster a positive and professional work environment aligned with IHG “True Hospitality” values.

Lead by example in grooming, guest interaction, and service standards.

Encourage teamwork and ensure clear communication among the team.

Guest Experience & Quality:

Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Support implementation of guest service programs and brand initiatives.

Conduct daily briefings to review service quality, guest feedback, and operational updates.

Financial & Administrative:

Assist in achieving departmental revenue and cost targets.

Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and reporting in coordination with the finance team.

Support the Restaurant Manager in preparing performance reports, forecasts, and budgets.
