Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead a team of accounting professionals.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks
  • Prepare and review various monthly financial reports for department heads and senior management
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including general cashier's report and back-office collection
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and online filing of business taxes
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounting activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, best practices, and UAE financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
